Science task

Dear students,

Can you remember that today we have been reviewing the topic of 'Living and non-living things'?

Well, so I want you to take a short task of the topic ;-)

Here is the link of the reading task so that you can print it out:

http://www.k12reader.com/reading-comprehension/Gr3_Wk10_Adapting_to_Survive.pdf

Remember the reading rules: read the text as many times as you need, try to guess the words you don't know and then try to search those words in the thesaurus (synonyms dictionary).

Useful link (thesaurus webpage):

Enjoy the reading!

First task!

Let's start with some word guessing: what is the main idea of the previous text?

We want you to write down a comment with what ideas you have picked up.

Keywords:

-Update: to renovate, to renew, to refresh*

*When you are looking for information in the Internet, if you click on the arrow you refresh the webpage and it gets updated, can you remember?

-Resources: things that help you with your learning (and teachers as well :-) ). E.g.:  online games.

-Tasks: activities you have to do, homework.

-To undertake: to do.

We will discuss your ideas in the next session.

Hope that's useful!

¡Gracias!

Welcome students!

Dear students,

Finally we have our own Blog :) Just for us!

Here you can ask us any questions you have about bilingual sessions: Science, P.E, Art and English, of course.

We are going to update the Blog every day, with different resources and homework, as well.

Hope you enjoy the experience!

Best wishes!

Your bilingual teachers: Carmen, Elena and Clara.

PS: please, note that you are expected to check the blog everyday if possible.
PS2: some of the tasks that you are going to undertake/do will be online homework, so you will have to upload it!
